Custom Stained Glass

Welcome! I make custom stained glass pieces like Medicine Horses, Memorial Horses, Angels, Fairies, Goddesses, Sunflowers, Turtles, Dragons, Sky Divers, etc!

I fell in Love with glass long ago. I always admired it but I never thought much about making it until one day when I walked into a stained glass shop and was admiring all the Beautiful pieces. I was fascinated by the glass. It was earth’s art. I especially loved the pieces of glass that held the design within them. You could see it in the grain or the way the colors fell…the texture. I spotted a rack holding some pattern books and eagerly dug into them…my breath was taken away when I spotted the fairy book.

I had never seen stained glass like that! The designs were sublime…done by an Australian artist by the name of Jillian Sawyer. The name of it was Fairie Lights. Absolutely Gorgeous designs! She also has a mermaid book (I don’t have that one but it’s next on the list!) and some others that are all just as fabulous.

After fawning over every page in the book, I took it and approached the Lady behind the counter. I asked if they gave lessons and when she said yes, I told her I wanted to make one of these…pointing lovingly at the Fairies. She laughed. She told me that when I had been doing stained glass for 10 years I could think about making one of those! Oh reeealllly…LOL

I promptly purchased all the equipment I needed and signed up for a class. After the first class, I went home and made a fairy 🙂 I have been making them since and also drawing my own patterns.

I Love working with glass and adding extra “parts” making it three-dimensional. I use horsehair, jewels, stones, feathers, leather…whatever my mind (or yours) envisions. I have done multiple memorial horses for people who have lost their beloved companions using their hair so that they always have a piece of them and they are treasured. All my pieces are custom so that you can choose the colors and embellishments you love.

Unfortunately, I am not a photographer, so the pictures are not great, but you can get an idea anyway. Sadly, there are countless pieces that were never photographed before shipping and then I lost what pics I had on a computer that crashed so only a few pics left now.

Each piece is custom, unique, and infused with Love. As an Energy Channel and Sacred Activation Practitioner, if you would like your piece infused with Activations this is something we can discuss. All pieces are Blessed with Healing, Creator knows what you need.

Most of the pieces on this page have already been sold but I do occasionally post one for sale or in progress. Many times pieces sell before they are completed <3

If you would like to order a piece, email me at Katherine@livedreambelieve.me and put GLASS in the subject line!

Thank you so much for visiting, Enjoy! <3

Thank you to my friend Anand for this shot. He was experimenting with light. Stained glass is tricky to photograph! This is a memorial horse of a much Loved Therapy horse named Pebbles who served many at The Medicine Horse Program in Boulder, Colorado <3
For Memorial horses, I have the owner send me hair from their beloved for the piece.
Approx. 8.5″H x 7″W glass-wise, 20″ with the tail.

Wolf Kachina

Wolf Kachina with a wooden bow, beaded bracelet, and Tigers Eye accent. Unfortunately,

A Gloria Fohr design. SOLD.

Meet Cocoa. This horse was ordered as a gift for a young lady in Colorado. Cocoa is a roan and I was unable to find glass in a color that recreated him so he was stylized. Her favorite color is purple so he is a deep purple with hand-painted spots.

The picture catches a shadow off the wall which makes the feathers difficult to see. The feathers towards the tail showed up strange on the pic as well. The piece was very cute for a teenager and utilized his hair. Now comes the sweet part…

YEARS later, maybe 15 or so? I get an email from a lady who is seeking a memorial piece for her pony Benny. She explained to me that YEARS ago, she received a stained glass horse, using horse hair and she had been searching for YEARS for someone who could make something similar for Benny when she came across my website.

I asked her to please take a pic of her stained glass horse so I could make something that would match well. Low and behold, it was Cocoa! I didn’t have him on the website because I had forgotten to take a pic before I delivered him! LOL She gave me the sweetest review EVER!

“My glass horse is my FAVORITE possession!
If the house was burning down and I could only take ONE thing, that would be it!”

Wow! Just WOW! Thank you so much! <3
I was so Honored to be able to make Benny for her as well!
Meet Benny!

I REALLY wanted to capture both his adorable face AND daisy tail so I combined the pics for the design. Using his hair, feathers (his legs are feathered), and some pre-made daisy accents, he came out super cute!
I also asked my artist friend Ellen Fausek to paint a pic to go with! OMG CUTE!!

Needless to say, she LOVED both pieces! <3

Original design, SOLD.

AquaFairyLantern

This Aqua Fairy has a butterfly 3D hairpiece. Her opaque wings are a beautiful mixture of colors. A Jillian Sawyer design. SOLD.

Not the best pic but hopefully you can see the baby dragon in this dragon egg!

This cutie went to my Grandkids.
Design inspired by a game, GIFTED.

This is one of my Favorite pieces and she says she never misses a day without reaching out to touch it to soak up some of the energy. Love you Jannie! <3  Original design, GIFTED.
